Sienna Miller - Style Crush

Morning everyone.

I've had this post topic on my list for quite a few weeks now because well, Sienna's style has been so on point recently.

I've always admired her style but recently every outfit she has stepped out in, whether that be on the red carpet, or out and about, she has looked flawless. Also her hair in my opinion has really pulled every look together fabulously. Sienna you've made me want to cut my hair.

Here are some of my favourite looks...

OOTD - Knee Highs and Leather

Hello everyone!

Todays post is another outfit post. I'm not going to lie, I was being blinded by the sun while taking this photos so apologies for the facial expression.

I love these knee high boots. I bought them in October and have surprised myself at how much I've worn them. They go perfectly with pretty much anything which is why I think I've been able to wear them a lot. They really weren't that expensive either. When I bought them H&M were doing 20% off, so I paid about £27 for them.

I really like the colour of this jumper. I bought it in Primark the other day for I think £10 and it's so cute. It's really warm and one of my favourite colours, a lovely mint green.

Now I'm going to admit, I probably should have thrown this skirt out by now. I bought it about 5/6 years ago and it's a bit ripped at the side, but I just can't part with it until I find the perfect replacement. I know, slightly trampy. I just love the zipped detailing and I've had so many memories with this skirt (God I sound like a saddo).

Do you have any suggestions where to get the perfect leather skirt?

New Look Wishlist

Hello everyone.

Todays post is what I kinda, sort of, want to buy in New Look. I was having a browse online last night and found some really great things. The following are some items I might buy in the next few weeks...

I love love love these trousers! They look super comfy and will go with everything and at £19.99, they really are a great buy for anyone.

Now, I've been looking for a sleeveless roll neck top for sometime now. This will be perfect with a full skirt, leather skirt or some tailored trousers. This is priced at £17.99

How great are these espadrilles? They are perfect for spring/summer and would look really cute with the stripe trousers. I can see me wearing them with a lot of things and I think I may have just persuaded myself to buy them...oops. These are £22.99

I thought this black embroidered aztec top would be great for summer. Team the top with a pair of ripped skinny jeans and Birkenstocks and you are ready to go. This is £14.99 and also comes in white.

I absolutely adore this backpack. It comes in a range of colours and I think its just a really cute shape and size. Is that weird? Oh well. This bag is £24.99

Have you been buying from New Look recently? If so I'd love to hear what you've bought.

What I Bought In Boots

Hello everyone!

Todays post is about what I bought in Boots yesterday. Ok, there is only 3 products as I didn't think anyone would be interested in the cotton wool, deodorant and mouthwash I bought, but still.

So, firstly I picked up another bottle of Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. This is my 3rd (I think) bottle and it is great. It takes all my makeup off even stubborn mascara. If you have read my blog for some time, you'll know I used to use Bioderma's one. However its more pricey and you have to order it online and to be honest, I can't be bothered to deal with the faff. This was also on offer for £3.32, bargain.

The second product I picked up was Max Factor's 2000 Calorie Mascara. I've never used this mascara before and I decided to buy it after reading Lou Teasdale's book The Craft. I actually have just put it on now as I write this post and so far so good. I might do a review on it next week... This was £7.99 so not bad at all.

The last product I picked up is another new one for me in Rimmel's Wake Me Up foundation in the shade 010 Light Porcelain. I've heard such good reviews on this from many different bloggers and YouTubers and thought why not. I hope I like it so I can start using a drug store foundation for the first time in about 5 years. It was also on offer for £5.99

Have you tried any of these products?

OOTD - Black on Black

Hello everyone!

This is my first outfit of the day on my new blog, how exciting. I'm actually going to take photos of my style properly (aka get my mum outside with my iPhone).

So lets get to it...

I absolutely adore this jacket! I bought it in a vintage store in Brisbane when I went travelling down the east coast of Australia in the summer 2013 and love it. It's also surprisingly warm considering the arctic conditions outside.

I teamed the jacket with this black 'punk' slogan jumper from Zara which I'm not going to lie, I forgot I owned until I stumbled across it this morning. The sign of having a tad too many clothes.

On the bottom half I wore my trusty black jeans from H&M. I really like these ones as I tend to struggle finding jeans that fit my odd proportioned body, but these are great and really comfy. Bonus.

How great are these boots? I bought them in the Boxing Day sales at Schuh for only £24.99! I love the croc style and the fact the zip is on the outside of the boot.

Finally, I wore my fab Michael Kors bag I bought in Bicester Village over Christmas (post all about my sales purchases further down.) It's a perfect size and I'm weirdly enjoying wearing a handbag I can put over my shoulders instead of carrying on my wrist all the time.

Exercise While Looking Stylish

Hello everyone.

Now if you are like me and have decided to get fit this 2015 (which I've stuck too so far), then this post might be to your liking.

I've had a browse online and have put together the perfect outfit to get that Victoria Secret body.

I've noticed that this year especially, a lot of retailers have really been pushing sportswear which I think is great. It gives people who, like me, want to still look fabulous while working up a sweat.

Primark and Boohoo have recently launched their own Active Wear line and its not only affordable, but fashionable. I'm really excited for Misguided's line which should be launching very soon.

Leggings - Boohoo £12
Crop Top - Primark £3.50
Jumper - Boohoo £15
Trainers - Asos £55

If you've bought any new gym wear recently, where from?

Critics Choice Awards Best Dressed

I do love awards season. First The Golden Globes now only a few days later we lucky people have more dresses to get all excited about.

On a movie note, I am super happy that Boyhood is receiving a lot of love as it really is an amazing film!

Now onto the dresses...

My favourites were Angelina Jolie who wore another show stopper in this beautiful silver metallic like gown by Atelier Versace. She really is one of the queens when it comes to red carpet looks.

Keira Knightley not only has a fab name (I'm biased) but is always dressed perfectly, and I'm loving her maternity choices she's been making. Last night Keira wore this gorgeous gown by Delpozo. I love the detailing and the long train.

My final favourite came from another Brit in Emily Blunt. I love Emily so much I'm not going to lie. She's a fab actress and her and her hubby are super cute! Emily wore this amazing Emilio Pucci red dress and looked incredible. Everything about this dress is perfect.

Who were your best dressed?

Alexa Chung for AG

Who better to collaborate with than model, presenter and all round queen Alexa Chung. I personally am a huge fan of Alexa, have been since she first exploded on the scene. I've also been super lucky to meet the beaut herself at her book signing in August last year.

Now onto the important part, her designs. The collection has online launched today and there is an exclusive global launch at Selfridges tonight, with New York and LA next. With a total of 21 pieces ranging from jeans, dresses, t-shirts and sweaters it is sure to be a sell out.

Here are my favourite pieces from the collection.

Will you be buying any of the collection?

New Name and Home

Hello everyone!

So, I've recently decided to move over to blogger however I have pretty much started a fresh. I used to be called It's Fashion Doll over on Tumblr but I thought that Blogger might be a better host for me.

I changed my blog name to Ciara's Cupboard mainly because It's Fashion Doll was taken but hey, if I'm starting on a new site why not change the name too right?!

I'm still going to keep my Tumblr blog open if any of my new readers fancy having a scroll and I have made a page at the top that will take you there.

I hope you all enjoy reading my blog at its new home, thanks for sticking around and hello to my new readers.

Ooh ooh also, before I forget, why not follow me on Blog Lovin' too Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Golden Globes

With awards season in full swing it’s time to get down to the important part, the dresses.
There were so many amazing dresses at this years Golden Globes it was hard to choose a top 3. I however did manage, so here are my top picks.
I love this red Armani gown Allison Williams wore. It really was the perfect fit for the ‘Girls’ star. So glam.
My second favourite came from Kate Hudson. She was wearing this beautiful white gown by Versace. Now some people thought it was a tad to revealing but I thought the mother of two looked incredible!
Last but certainly not least was this jaw dropping Miu Miu dress Sienna Miller wore. I fell in love with this vintage style dress the moment I saw it. Sienna really did look great and the dress complimented her cropped hair to a tee.

Sales Haul

So over the last 2 weeks I’ve been doing a bit of retail therapy especially in the sales. Right so let’s get straight to it…

How beaut is this co-cord?! I bought it from Primark and I must say I’m super excited about their SS15 collection if this is anything to go by. Paid £26

The next thing I bought was this sporty jumper from M&S. Now this wasn’t technically in the sales but I work there so, discount. I love the versatility of it. You could wear it with a full midi skirt, tailored trousers, jeans, the list goes on. Paid £28 originally £35

Now I’m so so so excited to try this next product. This is the Anastasia Beverly Hills DipBrow Pomade in the colour Soft Brown. I’ve wanted to try this for so long and seeing as I had a 15% off code I thought, why not?! Paid £12.50 originally £15

This LBD was a bit of a bargain. It was originally £38 from Topshop however, I found it in the sale for £18. I love the 60’s style to it and it was perfect for NYE. Paid £18 originally £38

The next item isn’t the best photo however if you scroll down to my Christmas Eve post you’ll get a better image. I fell in love with these culottes the moment I saw them. They are so perfect and that’s all I have to say. Paid £22 originally £45
Ahhh my beaut Michael Kors bag. I’ve wanted this bag for so long it’s insane, so I decided to treat myself when we went to Bicester Village. It’s the perfect size and fits my laptop in amazingly. Paid £159 originally £240
The penultimate purchase was another Michael Kors product in this gorgeous rose gold watch. I’ve wanted a new watch for a while and I’ve always admired Michael Kors so when I saw their was a sale on secretsales.com and well, I just couldn’t help myself. Paid £149 originally £229
Finallyyyy, I bought REN Radiance Skincare Regime. Now, I was actually looking for REN’s Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask which is priced at £30 however, while still browsing throw Cult Beauty I found this gift set also £30 but with more in it and a full size bottle of the mask. What a bargain! Paid £25.50 originally £30
Have you bought anything good in the sales?

2015 Goals

This post is all about my main 5 goals for 2015. I believe it’s silly to try and do them all at once as you’ll just get distracted. So I’m going to implement some of them slowly and concentrate on the big goals that are number 4 and 5.
1) Drink more water. I used to drink a lot of water before I moved to Uni however, that declined rapidly as I hate tap water and could never be bothered to buy a bottle. Well, that is going to change. I’ve even got an app to tell me when to have a glass so I never forget.
2) Read more. I’ve never been much of a reader me. I literally only read a book when I’m on holiday or when I’d do internships and would read while commuting. There’s a few books I’d like to read so I’m going to improve and read a chapter a day (every little helps). Well I need to buy a book first…
3) Exercise more. Yes I hear you all, everyone says that every year, and I’m the same have done since I was 16. But, this year is different (ask me in 6 months). Even if I just start taking my dog for a walk every day it’s more than I do now then I can try and get serious and get a regime in place.
4) Get a ‘real life’ job. Since graduating in September I’ve found it hard to get a job in buying or PR even with a total of 4 internships under my belt. I’ve had a few interviews however I’m the worst when it comes to talking about myself. So fingers crossed I finally get my dream job.
5) Move out. This goal ties in with goal number 4. Don’t get me wrong, living at home is great. Free rent, meals cooked for me everyday, can drive the car… But since I moved out for 3 years for Uni I miss having my ‘own’ place. So hopefully I’ll get a ‘real life’ job, save for a few months and have my own place.
Here’s to 2015 being the year I become an adult...
