Makeup Repurchases

Hello everyone.

Today I'm doing a makeup repurchases post. I thought I'd have a few more things to show you than I do, but some of the stuff I've had for 6months + and it still hasn't run out yet so I thought I'd not include that yet.

So, the first repurchase I go to time and time again is Collection's Lasting Perfection concealer. It's £4.99 and one of the best concealers I've ever used. It covers redness really well, stays put all day and lasts for months! The one downside is it is a nightmare to get hold of the shade 1 Light because it's always sold out. I tend to buy 2 at a time just incase.

This foundation I go back to time and time again. It's Estee Lauder's Double Wear and it's just wonderful. I have to get up pretty early for work and I get home around 6:30 / 7pm and my foundation just doesn't budge. I only use a little bit of powder under my eyes and my t-zone and it stays in place all day. 100% worth the £29!

I tend to harp on about Max Factor's 2000 Calorie mascara quite a bit so I'll keep it short. I love it, it's only £8.99, it doesn't smudge and it lasts a good few months. There.

My final makeup item I love to repurchases is my all time favourite lipstick from Mac, yep you guessed it, Ruby Woo. Gahh I love it so much! It's such a lovely shade when I have my naturally milk bottle skin tone or when I have a tan. Stays put all day too which is a must when it comes to lipstick.

What are your makeup repurchases?

This is my last post for a while as on Tuesday evening I'm off to Glastonbury! Gahhh I'm so excited I can't even deal! I can't wait to show you all my outfits from the week and fill you in on my time there.

Speak to you all soon xoxo

Teeth Whitening Update

Hello everyone.

So as you all know I set myself a little at home teeth whitening challenge which you can read all about here.

I've been brushing my teeth twice a day with Colgate's Max White One toothpaste, using the Max White mouthwash and then every evening applying pd's Beauty Sleep. It's been 6 weeks since I started the process and the following is a photo each week (except week 3 as I kind of forgot) so you can see how it's been going....

The day I started:

1 week on:

2 weeks on:

4 weeks on:

5 weeks on:

6 weeks on:

I'm not going to lie I can't see a massive difference. I do notice they look whiter after I've brushed my teeth more than they used to, but overall I think they look the exact same.

I'm going to continue to used these products and maybe after 2 / 3 months they'll look different. I think also the reason I don't think they look much whiter is because no one has made a comment about them. It's quite hard to see a difference in yourself until someone says so.

I'm going to do another update after 3 months to keep you in the loop incase I do see a sudden change!

Have you used these products before and seen a difference?

2015 Goals Update

Hello everyone.

Way back in January I set myself some goals for 2015 which you can read more about here.

I decided to set myself realistic goals not anything like I'm going to climb Kilimanjaro because if you know me, I'd probably die doing so.

So, I set myself the following:

- Drink more water
- Exercise more
- Get a 'real life' job
- Move out

So, how have I been doing 6 and a half months on I hear you say...

Drink more water - I've definitely improved on this goal. I have a pint of water with my breakfast every morning and I'll always drink 1.5L everyday and try and aim for 2L. Because of my weight and height I'm supposedly meant to drink about 1.7L a day so I'm doing good. I've noticed my dark circles are not as blue / purple toned anymore, especially the outer sections. By the end of the year hopefully I'll be drinking 2L everyday easily.

Read more - Again, another goal I've stuck too and have actually been enjoying. If you read my originally post, I mentioned I'm not much of a reader. However, In the past 3 months I've read 4 books and I'm onto my 5th! Dead proud of myself *pats back*

Exercise more - Now, this started off well but by the time it got to February I slowly stopped as well, CBA. Although, I have kind of been exercising more since getting my job in March because I've been doing soooo much walking! I always take the stairs and I do a lot of walking round the office. That counts too right...?

Get a 'real life' job - I've succeeded on this one, kind of. At the beginning of March I got my dream job as a Buying Assistant at a successful online brand and have been there for 3 months now. I say kind of because it's temporary. Basically, they hire temps every now and then and it's a week on week contract so I literally have no idea how long I'm going to be there for. I am enjoying it though and have met some great people!

Move out - Sadly this has not happened yet. Because I don't know how long I'm going to be in my job for, I don't want to risk moving to London incase I'm out of a job a few weeks later. The good thing is, I have saved a good bit of money because my only consistent out going is my train fares which are £145 a week (it kills me every Sunday when I have to pay).

How have you been getting on with you 2015 goals?

My Key Items For A Festival

Hello everyone!

So, so, so sorry I haven't blogged in 2 weeks! I've been quite busy and well, lame excuse but too tired to find the energy to post anything. But I'm back and I've got a good few posts coming your way.

Now, onto today. About 2ish weeks ago I did a Festival Essentials post which you can read all about here and today I'm going to be sharing 5 items that I personally thing are key items every gal should wear to a festival.

Festival outfits are hard, especially when you are going to one in the UK because the weather is so unpredictable. Everyone wants to dress like they are at Coachella and look like the boho queen Vanessa Hudgens, however that is quite a hard task in the UK when one minute it can be beautiful 23 degree sunshine, then an hour later its chucking it down and freezing.

Shoes wise I went for a pair of Dr Martens which I've had for about 5/6 years and I've never worn them to a festival weirdly enough, however I'm defs going to for Glasto. These are a great choice because one, they're black and will go with everything, two, they're great in mud and three, they're an investment because you can wear them whenever unlike if you decided to buy some Hunters (yes I have a pair and yes I know I mentioned them in my Festival Essentials Guide post).

I bloody love this jacket. Oh my god it's so beaut! The colour, the suede, the fit, the fringing.... just amazingly fabulous for a festival. Need I say more?

The next item of clothing is a good pair of shorts. My choice being a mom pair personally. A skirt can be risky at a festival and sometimes so can a dress but at least with shorts you know you won't accidentally flash someone and hey, you can get away with bringing just 1 pair depending on how long you're at the festival.

The penultimate item is your favourite pair of sunnies. I adore these ones from Missguided and I'm actually going to purchase them this weekend. They are such an iconic shape and I love the print.

The final item, love it or hate it, is a bum bag. I don't care what anyone says these are the best thing to take to a festival. You can dance hands free and you're not worrying about if someone is robbing you while you watch you're favourite band on stage. This one from ASOS is so beaut! The daisy detailing is super cute and adds a bit of something to your outfit.

Jacket - Missguided £35
Boots - Schuh  £90
Shorts - ASOS £28
Sunglasses - Missguided £8
Bumbag - ASOS £25
