OOTD - Dungarees Lovin'

Hello everyone.

Today I have an outfit post for you all.

I'm a sucker for a pair of dungarees. I've been looking for a pair of full length ones for well over 2 years. I initially wanted blue ones, however I just could never find the perfect pair. Or if I did, they were always sold out in my size. Then I decided, do you know what, I really like black dungarees! I bought this pair from ASOS and they are so comfy. They're that really nice, soft denim and are the perfect fit. JOYUS!

This t-shirt always reminds me of the 70/80's era. I think its because of the colouring on the neck line and sleeves. I love it anyway.

I finished the outfit with my trusty hightop converse which were actually my first ever pair that I bought in Florida when I was 12 years old. How time flies...

Have you got a pair of dungarees? If so, where from?

My Evening Pamper Routine

Hello everyone.

Today I'm doing something new for me which is to give you an insight into my evening pamper routine. I personally love these types of posts because its a good way to see what other people love and normally temps me into buying new things.

I do a pamper evening once a week without fail because I think you should always give your skin a bit of love considering the amount you put it through everyday. I normally do this on a Saturday or Sunday.

I also think the reason I'm so obsessed with skincare is because I suffered from really bad acne as a teen, so bad I was put on Roacutane which the dermatologist only prescribes if its super bad, because there were some cases of suicides (I thankfully only gained dry skin.) So I think thesis why I love to treat my skin and hear about new products that could well, change my life.

So, onto what I actually do...

Step 1 - If I have been wearing makeup that day I remove it with my trusty Garnier Mincellar Cleansing Water. I love this stuff as it gets rid of all my makeup and it is much more gentle than wipes. If I haven't been wearing makeup that day then I won't do this step.

Step 2 - I use this amazing exfoliant from REN which is the Micro Polish Cleanser. I love this so much! It really buffs away any dry skin and even though it is a scrub, it doesn't leave my skin red or feeling like I have exfoliated.

Step 3 - I apply Sanctuary's 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask all over my face and leave it for 10 minutes as I feel 5 just isn't enough. This mask is great because it starts to heat up as you rubbed it into your skin and when you wash it off, it leaves my skin feeling super clean and fresh.

Step 4 - The next step is another mask in the cult product that is REN's Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask. This mask is just fabulous! It was included in my February favourites if you want to read more. I leave it on for 10 minutes before washing it off and my skin feels so soft! I find my makeup the next day always applies smoother when I use this.

Step 5 - The next product I use is something I've been using for over a year now and I really can't get enough! It's another favourite amongst bloggers in, La Roche-Posay Effacular Duo. I apply this to areas of my skin that are slightly red so my cheeks, and also to areas such as my chin and forehead just out of paranoia to prevent spots. I've been obsessed with this product for so long because it's just amazing and lasts FOREVER! I've been using this since February 2014 and this is only my 3rd bottle. When I have a spot I put it on and it clears much faster than before I used to use it.

Step 6 - After I have applied my Effacular Duo, I leave my skin for around 15 minutes then I put a pea size amount of Tretinoin cream all over my face. During the summer I started a course of 5 sessions of Derma Pen to help reduce the appearance of my acne scars and the doctor recommended getting this cream. Tretinoin is used to treat fine wrinkles, dark spots or rough skin on the face caused by damaging sun rays. It works by lightening the skin, replacing older skin with newer skin and slowing down the way the body removes skin cells that may have been harmed by the sun. I only use it once a week as I found when I used it 2-3 times a week it dried by skin out as that is one of the side effects. It is however good to have in my routine as its a vitamin A cream which is recommended to have in your routine. Plus if it can prevent fine lines, I'm all for it!

Step 7 - The penultimate step is my moisturiser. I use a different cream in the evening mainly to save my Embryolisse Lait-Creme. The moisturiser I use is actually from Primark's PS Love range. It is their 8 Hour Deep Hydration Face Cream. I apply this all over my face and neck about 20-30 minutes after applying my Tretinoin cream. I really like this moisturiser as it isn't greasy on my skin and at about £2, you really can't go wrong.

Step 8 - The final step in my pamper evening routine is an oil in the, Trilogy Rosehip Oil. Kate Middleton actually uses this hence the reason I had to buy! It is meant to help with scars, stretch marks and so on. Kind of like bio oil. I'm not going to say to much about this product as it is in my April Favourites post which will be up on Friday, so you'll have to wait and see....

I hope you enjoyed this post. Let me know what you like to use when you're having a little pamper session.

Coachella Best Dressed

Hello everyone!

Again, apologies for the lack of posting! I've become slightly obsessed with Friday Night Lights and have been watching episodes as soon as I get home from work to then realise it's time for bed. Fear not, they'll be plenty of posts this week. Promise.

Coachella had its first weekend of festivities this weekend and I was SO JEALOUS! I've been dying to go for so many years now that a piece of me dies every year I'm not there. I'm determined to go next year so I can release my inner hippy flower power.

I love everything about Coachella. One, the fact it's a festival and a festival where you won't be wearing shorts and crop tops praying it doesn't rain and turn arctic cold a-la english festivals. I also love the whole spirit and vibe everyone gets into. You only had to watch their snapchat story to feel the love.

So, who were my favourite Coachella gals you ask?

Avid festival goer Alexa Chung and all round babe always kills it wherever she goes. I always admire her festival style; effortless and chic.

Another mega babe I always love to see at Coachella is Katy Perry. She is never afraid to try crazy styles and Coachella is no different, she always brings the fabulous. I love love this see through dress and pray I find one similar somewhere....

My girl crush on Jourdan just keeps growing. I love that she dyed her hair especially for the festival and flashed her best assets. Girl those legs are never ending!

Who were your fave looks?

OOTD - Culottes In Spring

Hello everyone.

Hope you all had a lovely Easter and enjoyed the 4 day weekend, although I do keep thinking today is Sunday! It's such a beautiful day today and I really hope it lasts as I'm sick of grey clouds and rain.

I looove these culottes! I blogged about them way back in December on my old blog as a possible Christmas Eve outfit. They're great because you can dress them up or do as I have here, and wear with a pair of slip ons.

I wore just a simple black crop top and denim jacket to finish the outfit.

How have you spent your bank holiday?

OOTD - Easter Weekend

Hello everyone,

So today I have a new outfit post for you, finally! I actually wore this outfit yesterday to Good Friday mass (being a good catholic gal) and then after when I went out to dinner with my friend for a much needed catch up.

These fabulous heels made an appearance yesterday and I'd like to reiterate how comfy they are! I wore them all day to work last week and was completely fine and the same yesterday. I'm so glad I found them and have them in my life!

To go with the heels I wore a simple striped top with my ripped jeans. I adored these jeans when I bought them last year and over the last few weeks I've been enjoying them again.

Now this jacket I actually bought when I was in Milan for my 21st way back in October 2013. I'm embarrassed to say yesterday was the first time I've ever worn it. Hell, the tag was still on. Oops. I do love it though! The pattern is amazing and the colours really made the outfit pop.

I've also been loving the ear cuff look recently. I wore this on a night out last week and was like, why do I not wear this more?! I've also noticed Topshop have been stocking some, so maybe this is a trend that is coming back for summer...

Do you guys have any plans for Easter?

2) £75
3) £60
4) £15
5) £40
6) £56
7) £ 85

Have you bought anything or are lusting over from ASOS?
