OOTD - Flares All Day Everyday

Hello everyone.

I am really loving the 70's trend aren't I? Literally everything I've been wearing lately has been some sort of tribute to that era.

Today I opted for my fabulously new flares I bought from Asos a few days ago. I absolutely adore these jeans, especially the shade indigo. You know when you find a pair of jeans and you're just like, "damn, they are a good colour jean" that's how I felt when these arrived in the post.

I teamed my vintage ACDC top I bought from London Fashion Weekend 4 years ago and my aviator jacket with my flares.

Will you be wearing flares this spring/summer?

OOTD - 1970's With A Valentines Twist

Hello everyone.

Today my outfit was based around this almost anti-valentines day jumper. I stumbled across it on the explore page on Instagram and thought it was fab and I must have it!

So today along with this fab jumper from inthestyle.com, I wore a simple denim shirt underneath, my khaki long mac from Primark and this very 70's inspired skirt also from Primark. I actually picked this up a few months ago in the sale for £3. Bargain or what?!

To finish the outfit, I'm wearing my trusty knee high black boots from H&M.

How would you style this jumper?

SS15 Trends To Start Wearing Now

Hello everyone.

Today I'm talking my key SS15 trends that you can start wearing now. With fashion month officially starting in New York on Thursday (ahhh I'm so excited) I thought I'd let you into my 3 favourite SS15 trends which you can start buying now.

Denim

I love the denim trend. I especially love the key pieces being; dresses, skirts and fitted jackets. This is definitely the easiest SS15 trend that everyone can pull off and you can start wearing now. Here are my top picks from New Look, Topshop and Asos:

1970's

The 70's trend is my all time favourite. Over the last year it has slowly become a growing trend and SS15 is where the 70's are going to explode. Think short skirts, long sleeve dresses, platforms and flares. It's such a fun trend and I think that its going to be a key look at festivals this year. Here are some of my favourite pieces you can buy now:

Suede

The final key SS15 trend is suede. Now some people might be a bit scare to wear suede because they think it only looks good on shoes and bags, but fear not, suede is a fabulously trend and ties in well with the 70's trend. Look for pinks, nudes and pastel colours if you really want to work this trend. The following are some pieces you can work right now:

OOTD - Velma 70's Inspired

Hello everyone.

I think we may be getting out of winter you know. It really isn't that cold today.

My outfit today was slightly inspired by Velma from Scooby Doo ( I used to love that show so much as a child.)

Today I'm wearing one of my gran's coats she left me. I really love these types of coats as they can smarten up any outfit and I feel like a detective. How Velma of me.

To really bring a Velma esque to the outfit, I wore my white high neck jumper with my burgundy cord button up skirt. I love this combo together as I'm really into the 70's era at the minute.

To finish the outfit I wore my croc ankle boots and my super cute boy/girl kissing necklace. I actually bought this necklace when I was about 10 years old from Argos. I stumbled upon it in the summer and I've fallen back in love with it.

Do you ever find yourself dressed as a fictional character?

OOTD - 70's Vibe

Hello everyone.

I was feeling really 70's this morning which inspired this outfit.

So today I wore my super warm Primark faux white gillet with just a simple white long sleeve top, and my oh so 70's palazzo trousers. I actually bought these about 4 years ago and I can not for the life of me think where from as there's no label on them. See, sometimes being a hoarder comes in handy.

I finished the outfit with the most comfiest heeled boots from Schuh and my fabulously fake Chanel bag. My dad bought this for me when he was in Hong Kong about 6 years ago from the famous markets. How real does it look though?!

Are you rocking the 70's trend?
